Sweet!

It's nearing to th end of th first month of my iip at Corpthorne King's Hotel. Well, there are quite alot of interesting experiences i had at tien court. One of it was during a wedding. There were really alot of hunks & babes at that particular wedding as th groom was from th SAF i guess~ Before th bride & broom enter th wedding hall, a group of officers in white uniforms marched in. As th music started to play, th officers raised their swords for th bride & groom to walk through th arch of swords accompanied by rose petals & bubbles. Of course, both of them look stunning too~ Everyone including me in th wedding hall witnessing th scene must be so envious of them. So far this was th most memorable wedding i had experienced during th 3 weeks. 3 more weddings to come in th following 3 days, sigh~ i would be damn tired by then. Anyway there isnt any pcitures that i can post for now as my phone's camera is faulty. Wait till i get my new phone after 9april :D Goodbye for now!

Together-ness!

After all th working & laxing, most of us managed to make it & meet-up though having different schedules. i was late by almost 2 hours. i think that's th longest record i had s: Neeways we met up at Macs for a chat since we didnt meet each other for weeks. Heh i really love our chatting sessions & its as fun as usual :D Omella you missed out th fun! After filling up our stomach at Macs, we went to walk around ION. Finally we decided to settle down at Starbucks to have some drinks. Ordered vanilla latte & it was too sweet after adding a packet of sugar x: Next time should really try first before adding sugar but well th drink was alright! Our chatting continued while we chilled out at Starbucks. Not long after, amanda took out her camera & our camwhore started. It's also super long since we last took a photo together :D

After finishing our drinks, fangying left with shaun & yixin left too for her briefing session. Th remaining of us walked to PlazaSing to get yanlin's stuff & have our dinner. It was my first time trying that cheese & ham pasta w crumbs, not too bad but a lil too dry. We left at around 8 as we still need to report for work tmr /: Time passes real fast when we are enjoying. Th day is over & now to get ready myself for work. Time now is 2.02am! Time for bed!

Charged!

My Oh My. It's gettin' late & i am still not in bed yet. Furthermore there will be 2 wedding tomorrow, can die s: Second week of work is ending & third week will before i know it, that means pay-day is nearing too! So damn excited, gonna change my phone & buy itouch :D For now i am still considering whether to buy samsung corby, lg crystal, lollipop, omnia 2 or blackberry. Hope that there would be more new phones in april (: Th business this week is rather extreme, some days it is really busy but some days it can be really empty. Just got myself a new flats from cotton on, reason being my previous shoe was too friction-less & i lost that shoe x: Th kitchen floor is damn slippery i swear! Th number of times i nearly fell down is countless. Next week i will be working for 8 days straight since my off-day is being pushed forward from friday to tuesday ): Short post today sleeping soon! OFF DAY!

Finally i am having my off-day today so i will use some of my free time to blog now (: Fun's over & it was time for th start of my iip. Monday was th first day of work for me at Corpthorne King's Hotel. Guess what, i was caught up in th traffic & eventually i managed to reach th hotel at around 9.30. Luckily th restaurant i am working at starts business at 11 so i was not considered late (: Before starting work, i went to get changed. Well th uniform is hmmmm, it's a chinese restaurant so yea th uniform is totally chinese too. i realised that what i learnt in school wasnt of much use for iip as what i learnt was more to th western side. It was rather a laxing day as i only needed to observe & help out abit since i wasnt clear of what to do yet. Besides myself there were also 3 other trainees who were working there. Th thing that i dislike is th split shift whereby inbetween th two shifts i will have a super long break of about 4 hours & i have nothing to do during th 4 hours. So on th second day i brought along a book with me so that i can use it to pass time. On th third day there was a wedding and it was a super busy day. Not only do we need to serve for th wedding, we will also need to continue with our normal operations. i went home at about 11plus & was totally k.o-ed. On th fifth day, i decided to go out during my 4 hours break. Texted amanda to confirm her knock off time & bused down to traders hotel. It was a pity that we only got to chat for awhile as i needed to get back to my hotel at around 6.30 so as to give myself ample time to change and do my hair. After chatting with amanda, i really think that people working in th hotel industry gossips alot. & i meant ALOT. i thought that it was only my hotel but i guess i was totally wrong. Sigh how i envy amanda, she even got to eat ice-cream everyday for her break time. Hope that after th staff canteen change their caterer, th food would be better~ For now work is still worth looking-forward to as i can get to learn new stuffs & know more people there. What i worry would be th insufficient manpower & i will really need to learn th ropes fast so as to help out.

This was supposed to be posted quite sometime ago but well~ Went to Melbourne with a group of around 50 students & 4 facilitators from dhhm for study trip. Th trip was rather short i should say & we couldnt really get to enjoy as most of th time we were rushing from one place to another. It was my first time going overseas with my friends & without th company of my parents. Overall i enjoyed it & i will totally treasure th memories & good times all of us got together.
